Expert summary
Happy Family is an NBC sitcom. It began in fall 2003. The protagonists are Peter and Annie Brennan. John Larroquette and Christine Baranski took up the roles of the protagonists. The story tells us how Peter and Annie are elated because they are soon-to-be-empty nesters. But, when their son Tim drops out of Community college, they cannot escape the duties of parenthood. Troubles accumulate when their eldest son Todd decides to dump his fiancée a few days before the wedding. Their daughter Sara cannot find a man in spite of her successful career and so, socializes with her parrot. Life is made more of an ordeal when Tim decides to live with Susan, a divorced, middle-aged family friend and neighbor.
